Recruitment for filling up the backlog vacancies in the post of  Constable
(General Duty) Group „C‟, for male Indian citizens belonging to J&K State only, in
the  Indo Tibetan Border Police Force, will be carried out through  LOCAL  RALLY
SYSTEM.  The post has All India liability and selected candidates can be posted anywhere
in India and even abroad. On appointment, the candidate shall be governed by the ITBPF Act
and Rules.

Payment- Rs. 5200 – 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/- per month.


Age-Between 18 to 23 Years (Cut off date for determining the age willbe 01 August 2011).

Fee- 50 rs

ITBP  PHYSICAL STANDARDS / Details 2012

• For all except candidates belongingto Scheduled Tribes category Hight 165 cms Chest 78 cms to 83 cms
• Candidates belonging to ScheduledTribes. Hight 162.5 cms Chest 76 cms to 81 cms

ITBP Medical Standards:-

•  Eye Sight:   The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of 2 eyes

without correction without wearing of glasses.

• The candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or

squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision. They must be
in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect
likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
