Age- Shall not be less than 18 Yrs and more than 27 Yrs as on 01.01.2012. Upper
age limit is relaxable for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe Candidates by 5 (Five)
Yrs and for OBC candidates by 3 (Three) Yrs.

KOLKATA POLICE  Physical eligibility Details  Police Driver in Kolkata Police 2012 :– 
  (a)  For Bengalee:‐ 
(1) Minimum Height – 167 cms.
(2) Minimum  Weight – 54.5 Kgs.
(3)    Minimum Chest ‐ 78 cms. with minimum expansion of 5 cm by 
inhalation 
  (b)  For GORKHAS, GARWALIS, RAJBANSIS and ST :‐
(1)  Minimum Height – 160 cms.
(2)  MinimumWeight – 52 Kgs.
(3)  Minimum Chest  ‐ 82 cms. with minimum expansion of 5 cm by
inhalation
  (c)  For Others:‐ 
(1) Minimum Height – 170 cms.
(2) Minimum  Weight – 54.5 Kgs.
                 (3) Minimum Chest ‐ 81 cms. with minimum expansion of 5 cm by  inhalation
(vi)   Eligibility in respect of Health :‐The candidate must possess sound (physical and
mental) health

Qualifying Standard :‐
(a) 100 mts. Run to be completed within 14.5 seconds.
(b) 800 mts. Run to be completed within 02minutes and 50 seconds, 
(c)  Long Jump for a minimum distance of 4.57 mts
