Ground Details KOLKATA POLICE Constable / Lady Constable Qualifying Standard:‐
(a) For the post of Constable:‐ 1600 mts. Run to be completed within 06 minutes and 30
seconds
(b) For the post of Lady Constable:‐  400 mts. Run to be completed within 02 minutes.

Physical Details KOLKATA POLICE Constable / Lady Constable  eligibility:–
(a)    For the post of Constable :
                      (1)   Minimum Height – 167 cms.
(2)    Minimum Chest – 78 cms. with minimum expansion of 5 cms. by  
inhalation.
(3)    Minimum Weight – Proportionate to height and age as per Medical
standard.
Relaxation in Physical eligibility for the post of Constable will be given to
GORKHAS, GARWALIS, RAJBANSIS and ST in the following manner:‐
                                                         (1)    Minimum Height – 160 cms.
(2)    Minimum Chest – 76 cms. with minimum Expansion of 5 cms. by  
inhalation 
(3)   Minimum Weight proportionate to height and age as per Medical
standard.
                  (1)(b)  For the post of Lady Constable:
                (1)  Minimum Height – 160 cms.
(2)  Minimum Weight ‐ Proportionate to height and age as per Medical
standard.
Relaxation in Physical eligibility for the post of Lady Constable will be given to
GORKHAS, GARWALIS, RAJBANSIS and ST in the following manner:‐
(1) Minimum Height – 152 cms.
(2) MinimumWeight ‐ Proportionate to height and age as per Medical standard.
(v)   Eligibility in respect of Health (For all Posts):‐ The candidate must possess sound
(physical and mental) health.
